I have had the distinct pleasure of working with Joe Radloff for the past 5 years. During his tenure with WW Grainger, Joe consistently demonstrated the competencies and skill sets of Leadership, Coaching and Developing, Change Management, Planning and Executing and Business and Financial Acumen.
Coaching and Developing: As an Account Manager on my team in Central IL, Joe offered strong support to his peer team and acted in a mentor capacity to new hires and struggling Account Managers. As a District Sales Manager, Joe was committed to the development and success of his Account Manager team.
Change Management: During Joe’s 5 years at Grainger, the company went through a large period of change to position for future success. As an Account Manager, Joe was a peer leader through this process and change agent in how he managed his business. As a District Sales Manager, Joe was able to position his team for success through this understanding how to communicate change in a way that was relevant to them.
Planning and Executing: As an Account Manager and District Sales Manager at Grainger, Joe was responsible for some of the largest account relationships in Central IL. He was able to consistently build successful plans that targeted call frequency, contact expansion, contract position and key solutions to successfully grow his business.
Business and Financial Acumen: Joe had a great ability to understand his customers, their needs and how to deliver relevant business solutions. Joe’s background as an Engineer and experience as a Plant Manager allow him to see business from a unique perspective and to speak in language that is impactful to his customers.
